and i ponder...

Are humans born good or born evil? How is it that humans seemed to be more able to pick up 'bad' traits more easily than good ones? Did we learn these 'bad' traits or are these already exist in us?

Funny thing is, everytime someone does something selfish, he/she might think (or maybe I'd say 'rationalize') that they are doing it for someone else's good. Noble thoughts indeed. But in reality, is it? Nobody knows... You decide. On the other end of the stick, something 'selfish' is but from the other party's perspective. Is it really a selfish act? If you feel 'maligned' or 'wronged', who am I to deny you your feelings?

What is right or wrong? Is this notion valid in the first place? When majority continues to do the 'wrong' thing, does it make it 'right'?

I believe that everyone has the option to make their own informed choices. So, when we 'unwittingly' made the decision for others, take a step back, and think. We are making these decisions on the other person's behalf because....? Do we truly think that the other person is incapable of making their own decisions? Are we doing it for whose 'good'? Ours or theirs? Think about it. Who are we to rob others of the opportunity to be in control of their own path...

Maybe a person is so often blinded by a sense of self-righteousness, that everything that he/she does.. is justifiable. They rationalize it internally and externally that that was done in the best interest of everyone. Really? Repeat it often enough, and very often, that person tends to believe it as the absolute truth.

But even truth... is subjective. Think. Reflect. =)
