Was invited for a preview of ION Sky today by a friend (thank you!). Located at Level 55/56 of ION Orchard, ION Sky observatory is slated to be open for viewing sometime late January 2011, from 10am till 8pm daily. Tickets are to be purchased at Level 4 ticketing counter. There are 4 viewing time slots in a 2 hourly fashion, and bookings are recommended.

Salt Bar and Grill is also located at Level 55. Haven't try this restaurant, as its price is towards the higher end.

The high tech telescope offers a day, live and night view. Just point the telescope to that particular spot, and you can choose from the touchscreen for the desired view. Pretty cool! This trademarked BEHOLD telescope was first seen at the Burj Khalifa in Dubai.

Overall, a pleasant and enjoyable experience to be able to take in the Singapore city landscape view, from an altitude of 218m.
