camera

The preview and comparison between Panasonic's GF1 and GF2 can be found here. The review for Canon's G12 can be found here.

The GF2 comes in an assortment of colors (attractive) and smaller in size as compared to GF1. But it was said, that it won't be bundled with 20mm F1.7 pancake lens. Canon's S95 if looking at specs, seem to be a better choice than G12. Hmm...

Which one to buy if I want to upgrade from AS2000 IS? Something that's not too difficult to use, can capture beautiful and sharp images. Must do justice to the future potential foreign places that I'll be visiting.

Hahaa!

District 10

A place to have post dinner drinks and desserts. All these places are kinda dark, where you really need to squint to see the menu. But usually, there'll be plants (think trees, think garden, think water features), music and cool breeze (either natural or artificial).

Accessories to bring along, your friends and gossips.

looks kinda eerie here.. but not so when we were there

dessert (use own camera flash is better)

spring cleaning

I'm amazed. On the amount of junk that was on my table. 2 small bags of trash after sorting out the unwanted mails. Now table surface is dust free (at least for a little while), but somehow... there's still abit of clutter. Haha. Organized chaos.

And that's just 20% of living space that's been spring cleaned...

Salt Bar and Grill is also located at Level 55. Haven't try this restaurant, as its price is towards the higher end.

welcome to ion sky~

At 218m, ION Sky offers panoramic view of Singapore.

state of the art telescope

The high tech telescope offers a day, live and night view. Just point the telescope to that particular spot, and you can choose from the touchscreen for the desired view. Pretty cool! This trademarked BEHOLD telescope was first seen at the Burj Khalifa in Dubai.

augmented reality

ION Sky is also the official cloudspotting area as designated by the Cloud Appreciation Society, UK.

it's official!

Can even see neighbouring Johor from here.

Overall, a pleasant and enjoyable experience to be able to take in the Singapore city landscape view, from an altitude of 218m.

the tourist (movie outing)

A movie starring Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie, why not? Sounds interesting. "The Tourist" is a remake based on a French movie, "Anthony Zimmer".

The overall movie experience.. seems like a whole lot of frames on Angelina as Elise, and yes, the director threw in a gratuitous shot of her showing abit of cleavage by the balcony, for the boys... and alot of Venice landscape, or rather waterscape, and oh.. not forgetting, the memorable Paul Bettany in a rather clueless role. Haha. Paul Bettany who was very noticeable in films like "Master and the Commander" and "Da Vinci Code", was casted as Inspector John Acheson. The bumbling inspector. And yes, there was Timothy Dalton as well! WoohOo! Mr Bond, indeed. I was wondering who in the living daylights was this chief inspector.. looked sooo familiar!

Johnny as Frank Tupelo is charming, acting out as a hapless tourist, but in the end, turns out to be the real "AP". Such thin, not very logical plot that is, non? As though Elise would surely pick him of all people seated in the train. I suppose if she didn't pick him, then the story will rewrite itself... and that, may be a good thing! Just a thought, but the movie would've ended in a more logical manner if Frank remained as, well.. just Frank, the math teacher from Wisconsin. That, will be a more plausible ending, and Elise can love two different guys. One from her past, and the present heroic Frank that she began to like.

Haha, go and see the movie if you like Venice, Johnny and Angelina. In that sequence.
