Friday night, and time to chill. Went to Robertson Quay to recce for a place to eat.

went in separate cars, so these could be the meeting point

interesting tower

We walked abit and scoured the area for a place to eat. HS suggested this comic book place that serves Japanese cuisine. Bon Gout is the name of the restaurant.

rows of comics for patrons to browse

joyful fruit drink.. yea, the manufacturer sure is joyful if ppl buy this

it's colorless, but sometimes cloudy

We ordered set meals, and the lady (whom I think might be the boss?) is helpful in explaining the various sets that they have. But the recommendation was the set of the day/(week?). Should listen to her recommendation, because it turned out to be a good choice!

recommended set meal of the day/week: beef and eggplants with miso

The beef and eggplant with miso was yummy! Tender beef slices, and firm eggplant, cooked in tasty miso and the whole dish tasted like home cooked food! Such comfort ;)

unagi set and beef steak set

pork katsu set

nice looking beef steak, but unfortunately, it's meat was quite tough!

After dinner, and feeling full... we went to chope our seats to watch World Cup. Went to the courtyard like place and sat near The Chamber.

nice fountain, but we weren't near it

Our seats faces this view:

What's a game, without the drinks?

buckets of hoegarden

Brazil supporters seemed to be more visible

the babes

The game was quite uneventful, as neither side Brazil nor Portugal has any real motivation to score...
