CNY 1st Day

Our CNY first day usually starts off with a vegetarian breakfast. And this is a one pot Cantonese vegetarian dish. My sister will cook it during the night before, and so, we'll just need to reheat it before we eat it on CNY 1st day, to 开年 (open the year).

Cantonese vegetarian dish

The base sauce is the fermented beancurd (豆腐乳) and red fermented beancurd (南乳,which is similar to 豆腐乳 but bigger piece,  not so salty and more reddish/purplish in color). Ingredients must have gluten, taupok, black fungus, black moss, tang hoon and vege.
