This was another item from the Hokkaido Fair. Pumpkin pudding. Actually wanted to get a spongeroll. I have always wanted to try Japanese spongeroll (with imagineries of pillowy soft bouncy roll with fresh cream) but I think the aunty at the counter heard wrongly, so she packed the pumpkin pudding instead. Turns out to be a blessing in disguise. as the portion is much smaller (good for one pax), not so expensive (note that I didn't say it was cheap either...at $6 or ~400 yen) and it's sooo pretty!

In essence, this pumpkin pudding should be a hit amongst the ladies. Dainty, smooth and just the right sweetness. Light, and yet, with substance.
