Was supposed to just pick up the cake and head straight to the dinner venue. But no.... Canele (@Robertson Walk) did not have our cake order! *gasp!*
There was also some confusion about the cake prices because their website prices were lower than store price. And when this discrepancy was brought up, the staff casually said that the website is outdated! Can you believe that?! For goodness sake, please update your website since you already know the price listed is outdated!
So, decided to just grab one cake (but not from the counter as counter pieces are per piece instead of per cake), so the staff had to go to their 'freezer' to get it. Waited for more than 10 minutes and still no cake appearing! My patience wore out, and asked the staff manning the cashier, "How much longer do I have to wait for the cake??" She said, "A few more seconds ma'am" Ya.. right.
When the cake finally materialized, the service staff had some problem keying it into the register to get the bill. The staff had some trouble using the POS (point of sale) system, as she kept on keying and rekeying the price for the cake.... -_-'''
Anyway, managed to bring the cake to Graze @ Martin Road, and they allowed us to keep the cake in their fridge while we have our dinner first. Nice place with efficient service crew. Had my first bubbly there.

We ate, we drank and we sang (birthday song, that is).

After that, we headed to Helipad @ The Central. We went to 'dizzying' heights, but that's due to the winding ride up to its carpark.
